Lithuania Consumer Confidence Drops In July

Thursday, the Statistics Lithuania said the consumer confidence indicator decreased to minus 43 in July from minus 42 in the previous month. A year earlier, the indicator stood at minus 24.

In July, the index measuring household financial situation over the next 12 months declined to minus 26 from minus 22, while the index measuring the index measuring the country's economic situation over the next one year moved down to minus 33 from minus 30. The index on probability of any savings in the next 12 months decreased to minus minus 49 from minus 47 in June.

Similarly, the gauge measuring the number of unemployed in the next one year decreased to 66 from 67 in the preceding month.
