Monday, the Statistics Estonia announced that the producer price index or PPI dropped 0.7% year-on-year in January, compared to the 1.8% fall in the previous month.
On a monthly basis, the PPI increased 0.4% in January, after a flat reading in the previous month.
Manufacturing PPI dropped 0.2% on an annual basis in January, while the PPI for mining declined 3.5%. Producer prices for Energy supply fell 5.9%.
Export price index decreased 0.7% year-on-year in January, slower than the 2.6% fall in the previous month. Month-on-month, export prices rose 0.4% in January, after a 0.5% growth in December.
