South Africa's gross reserves were $35.74 billion in July, compared with $35.76 billion in June, the South African Reserve Bank said Friday.

Net reserves were $34.67 billion in July versus $34.57 billion in the prior month.

Gold reserves stood at $3.75 billion, slightly smaller than $3.77 billion recorded in June. Forex reserves in July were $31.99 billion.
