Mauritius Q2 Industrial Output Falls 0.8% On Year

Mauritius' industrial production dropped 0.8% year-on-year in the second quarter, a report by the country's Central Statistics Office said Friday.

On an annual basis manufacturing output which accounts for about 90% to total industrial output, decreased 1.1%. Further, mining output dropped 48%, while electricity, gas & water grew 2.5%.

Sequentially, industrial output was up 16.7% in the second quarter.
