Macedonia's Industrial Employment Falls In September

The number of employees in Macedonia's industrial sector decreased 9.6% in September compared to the previous year, the State Statistical Office said.

In the manufacturing sector, the number of employees fell 10%, while the number in the mining and quarrying slipped 12.9%. Moreover, the number of employees in the utilities sector was down 3% in September.

In the January-September period, the number of employees in the industrial sector declined 6.3% from the same period last year.
