The Indonesian central bank decided to maintain the interest rate at a record low for the fourth straight month on Thursday. As expected, the Bank Indonesia left its key rate at 6.5%. The central bank stopped cutting rate in August after reducing it for nine straight months.
Consumer price annual inflation had slowed to 2.41% in November from 2.57% in October. That was the lowest rate since June 2000.
