Greek Jobless Rate Rises In June

Thursday, the General Secretariat National Statistical Service of Greece announced that the jobless rate stood at 8.6% in June, up from 8.5% in May. The jobless rate was 7.3% a year ago.

The number of employed totaled 4,572,316 persons in June, while the number of unemployed amounted to 427,707.
