Wednesday, the Statistics Estonia in a report said the gross domestic product or GDP dropped 16.6% in the second quarter, faster than a 15.1% fall in the first quarter.
Sequentially, the GDP fell a seasonal and working day adjusted 3.7% in the second quarter, slower than a 6.1% fall in the preceding quarter.
The value added decreased in majority of the economic activities in the second quarter, with manufacturing, construction and wholesale trade showing the maximum decline in value added.
