Denmark Oct. Jobless Rate Rises

Thursday, the Statistics Denmark announced that the seasonally adjusted jobless rate stood at 4.2% in October, up from 4% in September, revised from 4.1% reported initially. Economists expected the jobless rate to be 4.3%.

The number of unemployed totaled 118,300 persons in October, larger than the 113,500 persons in September.
