Danish July Consumer Price Inflation Lowest Since 2005

Monday, a report by Statistics Denmark said consumer prices climbed 1% year-on-year in July, slower than a 1.2% rise in the preceding month. The statistical office said this was the lowest rise in consumer prices since January 2005, when prices climbed 1%. Compared to the previous month, consumer prices fell 0.5%.

Meanwhile, the harmonized index of consumer prices climbed 0.7% in July, slower than a 0.9% rise in June. Month-on-month, the HICP was down 0.6%.
