Thursday, Bank of Japan's policy board member Tadao Noda said in a speech to business leaders in Matsumoto that having extraordinary measures for a long period of time would prevent autonomous adjustment in the economy and financial markets, raising risk in prices and the economy.
He added that the central bank should prevent ending unconventional measures too early. He also said there is no risk of the economy falling into a deflationary spiral.
