Austria Wholesale Prices Decline In August

Monday, the Statistics Austria announced that the wholesale price index or WPI decreased 8.6% year-on-year in August, compared to the 11.5% fall in the previous month.

On a monthly basis, wholesale prices increased 0.8% in August, after falling 1.3% in July.

The wholesale price index for seasonal goods dropped 10% on an annual basis in August.
