The Conference Board leading economic index for the U.K. stood at 99.0 in December, up from 98.6 in the previous month, the Conference Board said on Friday. This marks the ninth straight month in which the leading index has risen.
The Conference Board leading index for the U.K. aggregates seven economic indicators including order book volume, volume of expected output, consumer confidence index and yield spread.
At the same time, the Conference Board coincident economic index - a measure of current economic activity - increased to 102.8 from 102.7.
