Consumer confidence in Thailand improved for the third straight month in January, the University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce reported on Thursday.
The consumer confidence index rose to 71.9 in January from 70.4 in the preceding month. A reading below 100 suggests that pessimists outnumber optimists.
Consumer sentiment has generally been on a rising trend after hitting a seven-year low in May at 64.3.
