Sweden Industrial Output Drops In December

Wednesday, the Statistics Sweden announced that the industrial output dropped 5.8% year-on-year in December, slower than the 12.4% fall in November, revised from 12.6% decline reported initially.

Manufacturing output fell 6.6% annually in December, while mining and quarrying output rose 17%.

On a monthly basis, industrial output increased 1.8% in December, slower than the 1.9% growth in the previous month, revised from 2% increase estimated initially.
