Slovenia's average monthly gross earnings for December amounted to EUR 1,488.19, down 5.2% over November, the statistical office said Monday.
According to the statistical office, the decline is a consequence of lower extra payments, which were mostly paid out with earnings for November.
Average monthly net earnings for December amounted to EUR 957.14, a fall of 4.2% month-on-month.
Average monthly gross earnings for 2009 amounted to EUR 1,438.96 and were 3.4% higher than for 2008. Average monthly net earnings for 2009 amounted to EUR 930.
In real terms, average monthly gross and net earnings for 2009 increased by 2.5% over 2008.
