Slovak GDP Shrinks In Q4

Friday, a report from the Statistical Office of the Slovak Republic showed that the volume of gross domestic product dropped 2.7% in the fourth quarter on an annual basis. After seasonal adjustment, the economy shrank 3.6%. At the same time, total employment dropped 4% to 21.61 million in the fourth quarter.

According to flash estimate, GDP decreased 4.7% in the year 2009.
