Finnish Sept-Nov. Construction Turnover Falls Sharply

Monday, the Statistics Finland said the turnover of construction enterprises fell 14.9% in the September to November from the corresponding period of last year. Turnover decreased 17.5% in the construction of buildings. At the same time, decrease in civil engineering turnover was 14% and that in specialized construction activities stood at 12.8%.

In November, construction enterprises' turnover contracted 10.6% from the previous year. The contraction was largest in the construction of buildings where turnover slipped 13.1%.
