Export prices in the Czech Republic increased 0.9% month-on-month in December, the statistical office said Monday. Prices stayed unchanged in November.
Year-on-year, export prices decreased 3.9%, slightly faster than the 3.4% decline in November. Export prices have been falling for the fifth month in a row.
Import prices grew 1.7% month-on-month in December after rising 0.6% in November. Compared to the previous year import prices fell 3.2% annually, slower than November's 3.4% drop.
Export prices rose at an average pace of 0.2% in 2009, while import prices dropped 3.5% compared to 2008.
