Czech industrial production grew 1.8% year-on-year in December, revised down from the initial estimate of 2.1%, a report released by the Czech Statistical Office showed Thursday. After seasonal adjustment, production dropped 0.4% from November.
At the same time, construction output decreased 1.4% on a monthly basis and rose 3.5% annually. In 2009, construction output recorded a decline of 1%.
In the fourth quarter of 2009, industrial production dropped 2.1% annually and the decline for the whole year of 2009 was 13.4%.
