South Korea October Services Activity Rises On Year

South Korea's service industry activity index rose 1.5% year-on-year in October, slowing from the 4.5% growth in the previous month, the National Statistical Office reported on Tuesday.

In October, real estate activities and renting & leasing, human health & social work activities and finance & insurance activities showed the biggest increases on an annual basis, the statistical office said.

Month-over-month, services activity dropped a seasonally adjusted 1.4% in October, after the 2.8% increase in the preceding month. Arts, sports & recreation related services, education and professional, scientific & technical activities recorded the biggest decreases.
