Romania August Tourist Arrivals, Overnight Stays Decline

Friday, a report by Romania's National Institute of Statistics said tourist arrivals into the country dropped 10.1% year-on-year in August. Domestic tourist arrivals fell 9.2%, while foreign tourist arrivals decreased 14.2%.

At the same time, overnight stays in the country dropped 13.1% annually. Domestic overnight stays decreased 11.8%, while overseas stays were down 22.4%.
