Kazakhstan's consumer prices climbed 6.9% year-on-year in July, a report by the country's statistical office said Monday. This comes after a 7.6% rise in the preceding month.
On an annual basis, grocery prices increased 5.2%, while non-food product prices were up 6.1%. Prices of paid services climbed 10.3%.
On a monthly basis, consumer prices were up 0.3% in July, following a 0.4% increase in June.
For the first seven months of the year, consumer prices increased 8.3% from last year.
