Thursday, Ireland's Central Statistical Office announced that the manufacturing output prices decreased 5.2% year-on-year in October, compared to the 3.5% fall in the previous month. A year ago, output prices were up 2.6%.
On a monthly basis, manufacturing output prices declined 0.6% in October, after falling 0.5% in September. At the same time, the price index for export sales decreased 0.8%, while the index for home sales declined 0.4%.
Meanwhile, the price index for mining and quarrying fell 0.2% annually and it was up 2.7% compared to the preceding month.
