The government today said it might announce incentives for exporters, who are struggling to overcome the slowing demand in major markets like the U.S. and Europe, in its Foreign Trade Policy (FTP) to be announced next month, reported the PTI quoting the Minister of State for Commerce and Industry Jyotiraditya Scindia.
In its budget for the current financial year, the government has already extended incentives for exporters like interest subsidy and insurance cover till March 2010.
