Finland July-Sept. Manufacturing Turnover Drops Further

Tuesday, the Statistics Finland announced that the manufacturing turnover dropped 27.6% year-on-year in the July to September period, compared to the 26.3% fall in the June to August period.

During the period, domestic sales decreased 23.9% and export turnover fell 30.5%.

Separately, the statistical office said the service industries turnover dipped 8.8% on an annual basis in the July to September period, faster than the 7.1% fall in the previous three month ended in August.

The turnover of construction enterprises fell 16% in the July to September period compared to the corresponding period of the previous year.
