European Economics Preview: Eurozone Producer Price Data Due

Eurozone producer prices and the Spanish unemployment data are due on Wednesday, headlining a light day for European economic news.

At 3:00 am ET, Spain's Ministry of Employment and Immigration is slated to release unemployment data for November. Last month, the number of unemployed had increased by 98,900.

Simultaneously, revised trade data for September is due from Hungary's Central Statistical Office. Preliminary estimates showed a EUR 485.6 million trade surplus.

At 3:30 am ET, Sweden's third quarter current account data is due from the Statistics Sweden. In the second quarter, the current account logged a surplus of SEK 67.9 billion.

At 4:30 am ET, the Markit Economics is expected to issue the CIPS construction purchasing managers' index for the United Kingdom. Economists expect the index to rise to 46.9 in November from 46.2 in the preceding month.

Producer price figures for the Eurozone are due from Eurostat at 5:00 am ET. Year-on-year, the producer price index is forecast to fall 6.8% in October, slower than the 7.7% decline in the previous month. Prices are expected to be flat on a monthly basis.
