Monday, the Statistics Estonia announced that the retail sales at retail trade enterprises dropped a seasonally and working day adjusted 1% month-on-month in October, slower than the 2% decline in the previous month.
On an annual basis, retail sales decreased 17% in October, at a same pace as in the preceding month.
Retail sales for stores selling manufactured goods,decreased 26% annually in October, while retail sales in grocery stores decreased 9%.
Meanwhile, revenues from sales decreased 21% year-on-year in October, and it was up 4% compared to the preceding month.
