Spain Producer Prices Decline Further In September

Monday, the Spanish National Institute of Statistics announced that the producer price index or PPI dropped 5.4% year-on-year in September, compared to the 5.5% fall in the previous month.

Producer prices for manufacturing declined 6.9% on an annual basis in September, while mining and quarrying PPI rose 0.3%.

On a monthly basis, the PPI declined 0.4% in September, after rising 0.6% in August.
