Romania Avg. Nominal Wages Increase In June

Tuesday, Romania's National Institute of Statistics said the gross nominal wages rose 1.7% month-on-month in June, to 1,887 lei, compared to the 3.9% fall in the previous month.

At the same time, the net nominal wages grew 1.7% to 1,379 lei.

The report said the highest nominal wages in financial inter mediation activities and the lowest wage of 777 lei was in hotels and restaurants.
