Portugal Producer Prices Decline In July

Thursday, the Statistics Portugal announced that the producer price index or PPI dropped 6.8% year-over-year in July, compared with a 5.6% fall in June, revised from 5.8% decline reported initially.

On a monthly basis, the PPI decreased 0.3% in July.

Meanwhile, the producer prices for manufacturing industry decreased 9.1% on an annual basis and it was down 0.1% compared to the preceding month.
