Portugal Overnight Stays Decline In June

Friday, the Statistics Portugal announced that the total overnight stays in hotels decreased 1.6% year-over-year to 3.6 million in June. At the same time, overnight stays by non-residents dropped 10.2%, while residents stays declined 18.4%.

Total income from hotel activity decreased 8% to EUR 170.2 million in June, while revenues from hotel occupancy dropped 7.4% to EUR 115.6 million.
