Japan is scheduled to release preliminary September data for its leading and coincident indexes, headlining a light day for Asian economic news. Forecasts call for the leading index to post a score of 86.2 after coming in at 83.2 in August. The coincident is seen at 92.5, up from 91.2 in the previous month. Also, the Ministry of Finance will provide weekly capital inflow data for stocks and bonds.
The Philippines will provide October numbers for foreign reserves, with analysts looking for a surplus of $42.28 billion after coming in at $42.53 billion in September.
Thailand will announce foreign reserves data for the week ending October 30. Forecasts call for an increase of 135.7 percent on year after the 135.6 percent annual expansion in the previous week.
