Iceland Aug. Trade Surplus Widens

Thursday, the Statistics Iceland said in a report that that the trade surplus stood at ISK 12.6 billion in August, up from ISK 6.814 billion recorded in the previous month.

Exports value amounted to ISK 44.1 billion in August, larger than ISK 41.67 billion in July, while imports value totaled ISK 31.5 billion, down from 34.85 billion last month.
