Dutch Business Confidence Improves In July

Tuesday, the Netherlands' Central Bureau of Statistics announced that the business confidence indicator increased to minus 14.8 in July from minus 15 in June. Economists had expected a reading of minus 12.8.

The order position index dropped to 98.4 in July from 101.4 in June. The entrepreneurs were pessimistic about their production, but their assessment of stocks of finished products improved again.
