Austria Consumer Prices Increase In August

Wednesday, the Statistics Austria announced that the consumer price index or CPI rose 0.3% year-on-year in August, compared with a 0.3% fall in the previous month.

On a monthly basis, the CPI increased 0.4% in August.

The harmonized index of consumer prices or HICP increased 0.1% on an annual basis in August, after falling 0.4% in July. The HICP increased 0.4% compared to the preceding month.
