Spanish House Prices Fall In Q2

Spanish house prices fell 0.4% sequentially in the second quarter, the National Statistics Institute said Wednesday. House prices decreased for the seventh quarter. In the first quarter, prices were down 2.7%.

Compared to the previous year, house prices dropped 7.7% in the second quarter, slightly faster than a 7.6% decline recorded in the first three months of the year.

Prices for new homes fell 3.9% annually and those of existing homes fell 11.2%.
