Tuesday, a report by the Statistical Office of the Slovak Republic said industrial output dropped a working day adjusted 21.6% year-on-year in July, after a 18.5% fall in the preceding month.
Manufacturing output was down 23.7%, and production of utilities dropped 14.1%. However, mining output rose 5.3%.
On an unadjusted basis, industrial output fell 21.4% after a 17.6% fall in the preceding month.
In the first seven months of the year, industrial output decreased 21.7% from the same period last year.
Meanwhile, construction output fell 5.7% year-on-year in July, after a 0.3% drop in the preceding month.
