Slovak HICP Inflation Flat In September

Thursday, the Statistical Office of the Slovak Republic announced that the harmonized index of consumer prices or HICP remained unchanged on an annual basis in September, compared to the 0.5% growth in the previous month. Historically, this was the lowest HICP annual inflation rate, the statistical office said.

On a monthly basis, the HICP dropped 0.1% in September, after falling 0.2% in August.

The consumer price index or CPI rose 0.6% year-on-year in September, slower than the 1.3% growth in the previous month. Month-on-month, the CPI remained unchanged in September, after falling 0.1% in August, earlier the statistical office said.
