Portugal GDP Rises In Q2

Thursday, the Statistics Portugal announced that the gross domestic product or GDP increased 0.3% sequentially in the second quarter, compared with a 1.8% fall in the previous quarter, revised from 1.6% decline reported initially .

Year-over-year, the GDP decreased 3.7% in the second quarter, compared with a 3.9% fall in the previous quarter, revised from 3.7% drop estimated initially. A year earlier, the GDP was up 0.7%.
