Poland Wages And Salaries Decrease In September

Friday, Poland's Central Statistical Office announced that the average gross wages and salaries in enterprise sector decreased 2.4% year-on-year in September, in contrast to the 3% growth in the previous month. Economists expected an increase of 2.9%.

On a monthly basis, wages and salaries dropped 0.1% in September.

For the first nine months of the year, wages and salaries slipped 0.9% compared to the same period of the previous year.

In the third quarter, average monthly gross wage and salary in enterprise sector was PLN 3317,45.
