Wednesday, Luxembourg's Central Service for Statistics and Economic Studies said in a report that the consumer price index or CPI rose 0.02% year-on-year in September, slower than the 0.24% growth in the previous month.
On a monthly basis, the CPI dropped 0.11% in September.
The underlying annual inflation stood at 1.96% in September, and it was a flat reading compared to the preceding month.
On October 6, the statistical office said the gross domestic product or GDP dropped 0.3% in the second quarter, compared with a 1.7% fall in the previous quarter. Year-on-year, the GDP declined 5.3% in the second quarter, after falling 5.9% in the first quarter.
