Luxembourg Consumer Prices Decline Further In July

Wednesday, Luxembourg's National Institute of Statistics and Economic Studies said that the consumer price index or CPI decreased 0.69% year-over-year in July, compared with a 0.27% fall in the previous month.

Food and soft drinks prices rose 1.4% annually in June, while clothing and footwear prices increased 0.55%. Transport charges were down 4.38%.

On a monthly basis, the CPI dropped 0.90% in July, in contrast to the 0.51% increase in the preceding month.
