Lithuania Jan.-July Trade Deficit Narrows

Friday, the Statistics Lithuania announced that the trade deficit stood at LTL 2.8 billion in the January to July period, narrowing from LTL 11.6 billion a year ago.

Exports decreased 32.2% on an annual basis to LTL 22.23 billion in the January to July period, while imports dropped 43.7% to LTL 24.98 billion.

In July, the trade deficit amounted to LTL 406.5 million, widening from LTL 342.7 million in June.
