Friday, the General Secretariat of the National Statistical Service of Greece announced that the trade deficit stood at EUR 2.56 billion in July, narrowing from EUR 2.96 billion in June. A year ago, the trade deficit was EUR 4.18 billion.
Exports decreased 19.2% year-on-year to EUR 1.32 billion in July, while imports fell 33.3% to EUR 3.9 billion.
On a monthly basis, exports increased 7.6% in July, while imports fell 7.2%.
