Greek Industrial Output Drops In July

Wednesday, the General Secretariat of the National Statistical Service of Greece announced that the industrial production decreased 9.2% year-on-year in July, compared with a 2.2% fall recorded a year ago.

Manufacturing production fell 9% on an annual basis in July, while mining and quarrying production dipped 14.3%. Electricity production fell 9.5%.

For the January to July period, industrial production decreased 9.4% compared to the same period of the previous year. During the period, manufacturing production fell 11.4%.
