France July Industrial Output Growth Slows

Thursday, the French statistical office INSEE announced that the industrial production increased 0.1% month-on-month in July, slower than the 0.2% growth seen in June, revised from the 0.3% increase reported initially. Economists were looking for an increase of 0.4%.

Manufacturing production increased 0.6% on a monthly basis in July, faster than the 0.2% rise recorded in June, revised from 0.4% growth reported initially. Economists expected an increase of 0.5%.
