Finnish Retail Sales Continue To Fall In June

Finland's retail trade sales fell 1.2% year-on-year in June, the Statistics Finland said Friday. In May, retail sales declined 4.8%. Sales fell for the fifth straight month in June.

Wholesale trade turnover slumped 19% and motor vehicle sales plunged 29.9%. Total sales in June dropped 15.7% year-on-year.

During the first half of the year, retail sales were down 2.5%. In the same time period, motor vehicle sales total sales decreased 17%.
