Monday, no important economic data are due from European nations, the only major event being the Hungarian central bank decision.
At 2.00am ET, the Statistics Finland is slated to issue producer prices data for September. In August, producer prices for manufactured products had dropped 8.6% annually.
The Hungarian central bank is set to announce its interest rate decision at 8.00am ET. The central bank is widely expected to cut the base rate to 7% from 7.5%. Last month, the central bank had lowered the policy rate by 50 basis points.
In the meantime, Poland's Central Statistical Office is set to issue PPI and industrial production reports. Industrial output is expected to fall 2.4% in September from the previous year, following a 0.2% fall in August. After increasing 2.5% in August, producer prices are forecast to rise at a slower pace of 2.2% in September.
