Wednesday, the Statistics Estonia announced that the industrial production decreased 27.9% year-on-year in August, compared to the 27.8% fall in the previous month. On a working day adjusted basis, industrial production also dropped 27.9%.
Manufacturing production fell 28.8% on an annual basis in August, while mining production decreased 2.8%. At the same time, energy production fell 35.2%.
On a monthly basis, industrial production decreased a seasonally adjusted 1.1% in August, in contrast to the 1.8% fall in the previous month.
